Senior Dynamics AX Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Dynamics AX Consultant, supporting our enterprise application environment with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of AX modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, and Projects.
  • Work independently to deepen understanding of concepts through high-level knowledge transfer and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Debug existing AX customizations, trace business logic in X++ and SQL, extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration, perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality, and create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong expertise in X++ development and AX architecture, proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation, ability to work in a fast-paced minimal-supervision environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing scripts, solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with other database systems is a plus.
