Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure the highest level of quality in our software releases.

About the Role
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA professional to take on a senior role and lead by example, mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure the highest level of quality in our software releases.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize defects, and work with them to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in release management processes to ensure quality is built into each release.
  • Contribute to the development of testing methodologies and best practices within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building Human Capital Management, Business Process Management, or Enterprise Resource Planning tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
  • Experience with BDD or TDD methodologies and tools such as Cucumber.
  • Ability to maintain focus while rapidly developing proficiency in new skills.
  • Experience in startup or high growth technology environments.
