Product Designer

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our team. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and developmentally aligned products that inspire children and delight parents.

Your primary focus will be on designing toys that meet the needs of both children and parents. This will involve working closely with child-development experts and manufacturers to ensure that our products are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

  • You will design and develop concept ideas based on child-development research and iterate them into production-ready designs.
  • You will create detailed CAD models and drawings, as well as build and refine prototypes with stakeholder input.

In addition to your design responsibilities, you will also support the creation of Mirnest brand identity, including logo, packaging, and visual system. You will produce brand guidelines to ensure design consistency across all products.

  • You will design play guides and instructional inserts to help parents understand how to use our products effectively.
  • You will create engaging graphics for toy packaging that appeal to both children and adults.
  • You will work with manufacturers to ensure that our products are delivered on time and within budget.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong CAD and prototyping skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product/Industrial Design (NID/IIT or equivalent preferred)
  • Strong experience with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino
  • Portfolio showcasing end-to-end ownership, from concept to prototype
  • Experience working with children's products, toys, or consumer goods is highly desirable
  • Able to think creatively and balance aesthetics, functionality, and safety
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines
