Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Primary Skill: P&C Business Analyst

  • We collaborate with various stakeholders to determine business needs and ensure development aligns with the scope.
  • We configure rating logic and business rules, documenting all functional, UI, and product requirements using standard methods.
  • We understand offerings and products to be implemented, identify what is currently available, supported, or not supported, and present this information.
  • We perform functional testing of solutions, troubleshoot issues, report to stakeholders, and track them for closure during development and before deployment.
  • We demonstrate solutions, discuss scope changes, conduct impact analysis, and engage with UAT users to assist in completing user acceptance testing.
  • We provide detailed walkthroughs of system requirements, work closely with technical associates on project development activities, review test cases, and close QA cycles. We also provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
  • We estimate activity duration and inform criticality, impact, risks, and priority as part of change management. We regularly update complex and challenging scenarios.

Required Skills:

  • We need to deliver high-quality analysis, documentation, presentation, and communication where required.
  • The ideal candidate should possess assertive, highly motivated, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at any point in time. They should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of the P&C Insurance domain and Products like Life Insurance or Commercial Lines Indian market are essential.
  • The candidate should have experience implementing software solutions using established Insurance software products or customized software solutions.
  • They should be familiar with implementing various business features and transactions, such as Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, and Reinsurance.
