Job Description

As a computer scientist in our group, you will be responsible for developing world-class products that change the way people interact with technology. You will participate in every phase of software development, from specifications to delivery, and design and build cloud-scale web-based component content management systems.

  • Design and build cloud-scale web-based component CMS
  • Maintain existing features
  • Evaluate stability, reliability, and performance implications of proposed and implemented changes

You will have the opportunity to work on highly challenging problems related to performance, concurrency, and big data, and collaborate across teams and technology boundaries to improve operability and supportability of critical customer-facing applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BTech or MS in Computer Science or related fields
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development as a full-stack developer
  • At least 2 years of core Java development experience with a good understanding of multi-threading, synchronization, etc.
  • Solid experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks
  • Strong OO concepts and knowledge of SOLID design patterns
  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex and multi-faceted issues spanning the entire technology stack
  • Understanding of high-traffic systems and REST services that run 24x7 with minimal downtime
  • Load balancing, failure detection, and failover options
