Property Acquisition Associate

We are seeking a Property Acquisition Associate to join our team. As a key member of our real estate team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring properties that meet our business objectives.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential locations for new retail stores;
  • Evaluating local demographics, footfall potential, and competitive landscapes;
  • Site visits to assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility;
  • Negotiating lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers;
  • Coordinating and managing broker communications and property inquiries;
  • Ensuring all legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties;
  • Obtaining necessary permits and approvals in coordination with relevant teams.

You will also be responsible for preparing regular updates and summaries on property acquisition progress for the team or management, as well as providing feedback on challenges and opportunities during the acquisition process.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a basic understanding of real estate laws and property regulations, good analytical and problem-solving abilities, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is also required.
