Senior Manager - Accounting

About this role:
- As a Senior Manager - Accounting, you will be responsible for leading the accounting team to deliver accurate and complete financial records, timely general ledger close, and submission of Financial Statements in accordance with IGAAP/IFRS, Local Corporate Tax reports, and Other financial reports to Revenue/Statutory authorities/Auditors.

- You will also examine financial accounts for fraud /errors & establish / enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles

- Additionally, you will assess, create, and enhance departmental controls, systems, and practices to ensure compliance with corporate and country laws and requirements.

- This is an excellent opportunity to lead a talented team of accountants and collaborate with other Regional and Corporate Teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including timely general ledger close
  2. Prepare and submit Financial Statements in accordance with IGAAP/IFRS, Local Corporate Tax reports, and Other financial reports to Revenue/Statutory authorities/Auditors
  3. Examine financial accounts for fraud /errors & establish / enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  4. Assess, create, and enhance departmental controls, systems, and practices
  5. Ensure that financial records, policies, and practices comply with corporate and country laws and requirements
  6. Recruit, educate, and inspire accounting department team members
  7. Providing support for internal and external audits
  8. Collaborate with other Regional and Corporate Teams
  9. Implementation of new solutions and tools
  10. Keep up with recent financial industry trends and developments
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Candidate should be self driven, have a very positive attitude & possess with below qualifications/skills
  • CA with experience of 8-12 years
  • Experience in Tally, Quick books, SAP and Excel/PPT
  • Skilled with Accounting Operations requirements
