Software Test Automation Expert

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and requirements.
  • Creating and managing test data for automation purposes.
  • Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and ensuring resolution in collaboration with development teams.
  • Enhancing existing automation frameworks and recommending improvements.
  • Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or CloudBees).
  • Monitoring test execution and reporting progress, risks, and test coverage.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software test automation.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems and command-line utilities (e.g., bash).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Subversion, Git).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering (BE/B.Tech preferred), or a related field. Master degree is a plus.
  • Experience with Docker and Puppet.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
