Software Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Test Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with experience in tools such as Linux, shell scripting, and programming languages like Python or Java.

Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience with version control systems, Agile methodologies, and API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with developers and test engineers to define test strategies and requirements, create and manage test data for automation purposes, analyze test results, and ensure resolution in collaboration with development teams.

They will also be expected to enhance existing automation frameworks, recommend improvements, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or CloudBees), monitor test execution and report progress, risks, and test coverage.

The selected individual will stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation, including knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
