Our organization seeks a seasoned Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of high-quality materials at optimal costs. This key role involves purchasing supplies that meet quality and cost requirements, identifying alternative products in the market, and ensuring timely delivery and payment to suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Purchase materials that meet quality and cost criteria.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify optimal products, analyze costs and benefits, and present findings to management.
  • Coordinate end-to-end procurement for assigned materials, guaranteeing timely delivery and payment to vendors.
  • Optimize inventory levels by reducing lot size and minimizing delivery lead time.
  • Transfer excess dead stock to other locations.
  • Establish strong relationships with vendors through collaborative improvement projects.
  • Effectively coordinate with all departments through regular site visits and networking within and outside the organization.
  • Maintain continuous monitoring, review, and corrective action to achieve objectives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Expertise in construction materials procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills for effective coordination with all departments.
  • Strong analytical orientation and ability to continuously monitor and improve processes.
  • Good understanding of property market dynamics, valuation, and laws.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in purchase management.
  • Experience in real estate is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in real estate management software and tools.
