Software Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Quality Assurance (QA) tester to ensure the quality of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of conducting thorough reviews and analyses of system specifications, developing test cases and scripts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Conduct detailed review and analysis of system specifications to extract test requirements and create comprehensive test cases.
  • Develop and document functional test cases and supplementary test artifacts, including test data and automated scripts.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to devise comprehensive Test Plans and execute manual and automated test cases with precision.
  • Identify, document, and communicate bugs and errors to development teams in a timely manner.
  • Maintain logs to track testing phases and defects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester in the Insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in QA Methodology and hands-on testing experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience with testing UI, Web services, batch-based integrations, and Web portals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in VB Script, XML, SQL, or related programming languages.
