Automotive Software Development Engineer Job Description

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Automotive Software Development Engineer.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to work on the development, maintenance, testing, and debugging of algorithms involved in control systems for automotive applications.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in software development with expertise in MBD and ASW/CSAR/Autosar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, test, and debug algorithms involved in control systems for automotive applications.
  • Work on the application layer modeling using ASW/CSAR/Autosar.
  • Utilize proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Model in Loop.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and HIL testing.
  • Familiarity with performance features, customer features, cruise control, ADAS domain experience, and powertrain automotive experience.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Model in Loop.
  • Experience with ASW/CSAR/Autosar Application layer modeling.
  • Strong scripting skills in MATLAB and stateflow.
  • Testing experience in MIL, SIL, and Polyspace.
  • Understanding of Windchill and clearcase.
  • Demonstrable capability in developing, maintaining, testing, and debugging algorithms involved in control systems.
  • Good knowledge of fuel system and air handling system.
