About this Role:

Jaguar Land Rover is developing state-of-the-art automated driving systems for global deployment. As part of the team, your task will be to support the development of future ADAS system generations, leading to full autonomous driving by 2030.

To achieve this vision, Jaguar Land Rover is working on specific software functionalities that aim to build in-house software modules, maximizing component reusability and robustness in the autonomous driving landscape.

You will join a dynamic and ever-changing environment with daily challenges requiring strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake various tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team to mentor junior software engineers and communicate findings through presentations and reporting
  • Understand requirements and develop high-level designs, decomposing them into detailed designs
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives and support implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborate with global teams within Jaguar Land Rover

Requirements:

  • Total 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years in application design and development
  • Experience in complex automotive projects owning low-level design, implementation, and validation responsibilities
  • Design and development of software solutions in AUTOSAR
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stacks
  • Experience in Automotive software middleware platforms
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
  • Good understanding of ISO26262
