Key Performance Indicator: Enhance Observability in Hybrid Environments

About the Role

This senior developer position is designed to lead the design and implementation of monitoring solutions across diverse environments, working closely with platform and operations teams to ensure system reliability and intelligent alerting.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in API-based integration and automation, with a strong understanding of platform engineering and service reliability practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom integrations using LogicMonitor's REST APIs.
  • Create scalable monitoring workflows that support multi-cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Develop and maintain LogicModules, dashboards, escalation chains, and reporting logic.
  • Automate monitoring deployments and policy configurations across client environments.
  • Provide guidance and design standards for observability integration.
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in monitoring engineering, with a focus on LogicMonitor for at least 3 years.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and JSON/XML-based API design.
  • Proven success in automating large-scale monitoring environments.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud observability and integrations with ITSM/CMDB tools.
  • Strong knowledge of platform engineering and service reliability best practices.
