Senior AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning to join our team. As a senior AI/ML engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize advanced AI-driven solutions for the healthcare and life sciences domain.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge agentic AI workflows for clinical source verification, discrepancy detection, and intelligent query generation.
  • Build and integrate large language model (LLM)-powered agents using AWS Bedrock and open-source frameworks.
  • Create event-driven data pipelines leveraging AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
  • Apply prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent communication techniques to enhance workflow performance.
  • Integrate AI agents securely with external systems via APIs.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design PHI/PII-safe ingestion pipelines, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor, test, and fine-tune AI workflows for accuracy, latency, scalability, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with proven hands-on expertise in LLM/agentic AI development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend Medical.
  • Proficiency in API integration and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience in healthcare/life sciences AI solutions with an understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) preferred.
