Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day repair services and customized production for PAN India locations, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
  • Form a bridge between our customer service, sales, and technical teams to provide end-to-end repair and services solutions, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Handle customer complaints and maintain excellent relationships with internal customers, providing a one-window solution for all technical issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as repair turnaround time and first repair for all product lines, driving continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the day-to-day performance of individual team members and sub-locations, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of our technical team, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage complaint reporting and product-level technical issues to our R&D team, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Monitor repair volumes to sales population and repair trends, ensuring optimal product stability and repair ratios.
  • Oversee spare parts management, consumables, and raw materials procurement and management for ITE production, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor and control outsourced service processes and vendors, ensuring compliance with our quality and regulatory standards.
  • Implement waste management practices, ensuring proper disposal of electronic and battery waste in accordance with government norms and EPR guidelines.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to our EH&S standards.
  • Manage changes to materials, equipment, or processes, ensuring compliance with our guidelines and regulations.
  • Verify that equipment and machinery are used correctly and safely, as prescribed in the manufacturer's handbook or relevant work instructions.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and maintained externally and internally, as required.

    Requirements

    • 10 years of experience in repair services management of electronics products, including mobiles, consumer durables, and white goods.
    • Background in manufacturing, with technical knowledge in both manufacturing and services.
    • Experience in the semiconductor industry, with a fundamental understanding of quality and regulatory topics.
    • Manufacturing units experience in the medical industry, with a focus on apparatus and quality and regulatory topics.
    • Customer-centric approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in leading teams of 30-40 people, with strong team-building and leadership skills.
    • Knowledge of 5S and Six Sigma concepts, with the ability to apply them in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics or similar disciplines).
    • Advanced user of ERP and BI reporting, with expertise in MS Office.
    • Expert in reading and decoding technical documentations, with Six Sigma certification (preferable).
