Job Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing indirect purchase requisitions and purchase order creation processes. The Senior Purchasing Analyst will provide education to end-users on purchasing policies and systems, coach the outsourced team in creating purchase orders, and manage change management communications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for end-users on purchasing policies and systems.
  • Collaborate with the outsourced team to create and manage purchase orders.
  • Manage live chat sessions to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Analyze reports requiring data selection and interpretation.
  • Lead a team of Procurement Assistants and the PR PO team.
  • Implement process improvements including simplification and automation goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of combined college education and work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting or purchasing experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with external partners.
