Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing teams and processes through sustained periods of change. They will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of activities, managing team performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes across the Shared Services Center.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bunge's dynamic Shared Services team in Mohali, India. As a Financial Services Leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial services strategy and ensuring compliance with Group policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Team Management: Lead a team of professionals in Accounting, Local & Global reporting, Tax filing & reporting, Period-end close & reporting and Master data management.
  2. Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes across the Shared Services Center.
  3. Financial Reporting: Ensure timely completion of financial reports and statements, including US GAAP and IFRS compliant reports.
  4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures, including Sarbanes Oxley.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 9+ years of work experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA, ICWA, MBA Finance, Additional certification in US GAAP or IFRS will be an advantage
  • Strong subject matter expertise in Financial Closure books of accounts
  • Eye for details and the ability to view the financials from a Financial Controller standpoint

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is ₹35,00,000 - ₹50,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
