Hitachi Storage Expert

This is a position for a highly skilled Hitachi storage expert who can handle all aspects of SAN and storage environments.

The role involves managing day-to-day administration for the storage infrastructure, including collaborating with customer support teams, participating in problem solving and troubleshooting, supporting design and operation, and maintaining systems level maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Hitachi mid-range and enterprise storages operations support, as well as experience with zoning via CISCO SAN Switches and CCI HORCM. They should also be familiar with monitoring tools such as OPS Center Analyser and Hi-Track, and have strong troubleshooting skills.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to manage shifts independently.

Required Skills:
  • 8 years+ experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Hitachi Technical certification is desirable
