Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain multiple Oracle database instances
  • Administer, support, and clone EBS environments in production and non-production settings
  • Patch management for Oracle databases and EBS systems
  • Implement robust backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and EBS-specific tools
  • Optimize system performance through concurrent request tuning and database optimization
  • Configure and manage application tiers using WebLogic, OACORE, and Forms
  • Ensure database security and access control measures are in place
  • Manage user and responsibility permissions via FND_USERS and Forms
  • Perform logical backups using Oracle Data Pump
  • Collaborate with the development team to deploy custom code and fixes
  • Monitor database and EBS performance using OEM and custom alerts
  • Design and implement high availability solutions using RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
  • Document all database and EBS-related activities, including patching, cloning, and upgrades
  • Support compliance initiatives and internal audits related to SOX, ITGC, and other regulatory requirements
  • Assist during major upgrades of Oracle versions and EBS releases
  • Coordinate with Oracle Support for critical issue resolution and patch requests
  • Manage incident/service request/change management processes for database and EBS applications
  • Design, build, and architect database and EBS servers to ensure optimal performance and scalability
  • Develop and implement code deployment strategies
