About the Role

This position involves working with a student who needs to improve their writing skills in German, focusing on correcting errors and expanding their vocabulary. The student has a good grasp of basic German and requires guidance for higher proficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of German language fundamentals and advanced writing skills, as well as empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching styles to different learning paces. Strong communication skills in English and German are also essential.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Conduct weekly German tutoring sessions with a focus on vocabulary and writing skills
  • Develop personalized learning plans tailored to the student's needs
  • Use engaging and practical examples to make lessons relatable
  • Monitor and report progress, with regular updates to parents/stakeholders
  • Stay updated on teaching techniques and tools for language instruction
