Guidewire Policy Center Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced software professional to fill the role of Guidewire Policy Center Developer.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for the insurance industry. Key responsibilities include configuring and integrating Guidewire Policy Center with various systems and technologies, working closely with digital product teams and subject matter experts to design and develop approaches for configuration, effort estimation, and build of design documents, developing, configuring, and unit testing Guidewire Policy Center enhancements and defects, contributing to future Guidewire development as a key member of the development team, and providing production support by analyzing logs, identifying potential problems and defects, and conducting root cause analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Integration: Strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Integration is essential for this role.
  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience in working on one programming language (JAVA or Python) is required.
  • GW Rating and Admin Management: Expertise in GW Rating and Admin management is necessary.
  • Integration Gateway Frameworks: Hands-on experience in working on GW Integration Gateway Frameworks and common integration design patterns is also required.
  • Certification: MUST have Guidewire Cloud Certified Associate Developer, Guidewire Cloud Certified Integration Specialist certification.
  • Industry Domain: Experience in the Canadian Personal Line Insurance industry domain is highly preferred.
