Job Description:

The Property Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of a real estate portfolio, ensuring data entry and quality while performing lease and license system financial calculations, entries, audits, and corrections. This role involves managing office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and other commercial assets, as well as coordinating property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects.

Responsibilities include maintaining insurance coverage, managing third-party vendor payments, and monitoring on-time mortgage payments. The Property Administrator will also enter lease agreement information and rent schedules in Yardi, communicate with management and tenants regarding billing and lease language, and assist with tenant aged receivables audits and collection efforts.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Cash flow management and reporting
  • Lease administration and tenant relations
  • Tenant year-end reconciliations
  • Annual budgeting and forecasting

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 3 years professional experience in property management, with advanced knowledge of general and cost accounting and financial statements. They must have expert-level proficiency working with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), as well as excellent communication and financial accounting skills. A strong sense of teamwork and self-motivation is essential for this role.
