Role Description:

The SAP FICO consultant role involves working collaboratively with the finance team to design, implement, and maintain efficient SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) systems.

This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in configuring and maintaining FICO components such as dunning, payments, account determination, write-offs, refunds, security deposits, promise to pay, interest, and understanding of FI-CO functionality including GL accounting and cost & profit centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Finance Team Members
  2. Effectively Communicate with Business Users Across Multinational Environments
  3. Elicit Business Requirements from Users, Document Them, and Build Configured Solutions Work with Developers to Explain Technical Requirements for Needed Development Resources
  4. Work with Offshore/Nearshore Teams
  5. Be a Good Team Player and Willing to Stretch to Achieve Goals

As a SAP FICO consultant, you will collaborate with offshore and onsite teams to drive RICEF technical development, including functional specifications. You should have expertise in capturing business requirements, validating them, and understanding the implications of testing. Additionally, you will work with developers to explain technical requirements for needed development resources and communicate effectively with business users in a multinational environment.

Strong knowledge of interfacing needs with third-party applications, business analysis experience, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, application mapping, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. You should also be able to design, troubleshoot, and resolve problems efficiently.
