Job Summary

Samarthya is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in high-potential startups in deeptech, defencetech, AI and cleantech.

  • We invest in bold founders building transformative businesses, providing strategic insights, access to our global network of experts, and operational support along with capital.
About the Role

This role involves conducting market size analysis, evaluating products/services, assessing teams, business models, and financials. You will also be responsible for identifying risk factors, analyzing competitive landscapes and funding histories, and supporting the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research and analyze startup data to identify potential investment opportunities.
  2. Evaluate the technical merit and commercial viability of startups.
  3. Collaborate with the investment team to conduct thorough due diligence on startups.
  4. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, including industry trends, technologies, and competitors.
Requirements

  1. NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  2. Passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  3. Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred (though not mandatory).
