Senior SDET Position Overview

As a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for crafting and executing automated tests for our software applications using cutting-edge Nodejs technologies.

We are seeking an expert who can develop end-to-end automation test suites using advanced techniques like Playwright or Selenium, preferably with BDD approach.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with TypeScript, Automation Testing Techniques and Tools, and development of scalable and highly available Restful APIs/Microservices using Javascript technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute automated tests for software applications using Nodejs technologies
  • Create end-to-end automation test suites using advanced tools like Playwright or Selenium, preferably with BDD approach
  • Develop scalable and highly available Restful APIs/Microservices using Javascript technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Work with engineers to develop and implement automated testing frameworks
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies
  • At least 1 year hands-on experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with Automation Testing Techniques and Tools e.g., Playwright / Cucumber / Appium/ Selenium
  • Excellent knowledge in development and testing scalable and highly available Restful APIs / Microservices using Javascript technologies
  • Practical experience with GraphQL
  • Well-versed with CI/CD principles and troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem
  • Understanding of containerization and experienced in Dockers, Kubernetes
  • Exposed to API gateway integrations like containerization solutions
  • Understanding of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, oAuth)
  • Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues including but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin and Kafka Functional Skills
  • Experience in the following best Coding, Testing, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices
