Strategic Finance Shared Services Leader

Are you a seasoned finance professional seeking a challenging role that requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and leadership skills? We are looking for a Director of Finance Shared Services to lead our financial operations in Hyderabad. In this critical position, you will be responsible for managing budgets, financial reporting, and analysis to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of employees who support all functions of accounting
  • Implement new and innovative ideas for process improvement to increase operational efficiency and productivity to support business goals
  • Formulate and establish accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Identify opportunities for task automation and procedural standardization within finance shared services to support cost-effectiveness
  • Uphold a robust internal control environment, overseeing the preparation and review of reports for internal and external audits, resolving outstanding issues, and ensuring audit compliance
  • Collaborate closely with global accounting, billing, collections, and FP&A teams to identify impactful process enhancements, deliver value, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate risks effectively
  • Establish departmental objectives and regularly monitor key performance metrics, providing insightful analysis and reports to management
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to support the organization's long-term strategies
  • Stay up to date on changes in the industry and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CA, CMA) preferred
  • Proven track record (7 years) of leadership experience in finance shared services, financial operations, or similar roles
  • Having a track record managing administrative and operational responsibilities in a technology product or services setting
  • Possesses a solid grasp of both US and international finance and accounting principles
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and build high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in financial systems and technology, including ERP systems (e.g., JDE, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives, manage projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be highly organized and detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
