Role Overview

A Cloud Portfolio Spanning Multiple Providers Requires Operational Visibility And Rapid Remediation. We Are Seeking Motivated Engineers To Develop Platform Observability And Monitoring Capabilities To Achieve High-Level Production Service Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity With Technical Architecture Patterns To Provide Monitoring Recommendations For Applications And Infrastructure.
  • Facilitate Platform Health Observation Through Various Monitoring Platforms And Frameworks, Resolving Service-Impacting Issues Through Triage, Runbook Execution, And Remediating Actions.
  • Communicate Critical Incidents And Observed Patterns To All Stakeholders.
  • Champion Monitoring Processes And Tools, Ensuring Adherence And Encouraging Teams To Adopt Best Practices.
  • Consult On Monitoring Topics With Senior Management And Engineers.
  • Create, Refine, Implement, Document, And Maintain Monitoring Policies And Processes.
  • Manage Observability Costs Through Architecture Insight And Operational Reporting.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 Years Of Experience With Monitoring On The AWS Cloud Platform Preferred.
  • Minimum 3 Years Of Windows Administration Experience.
  • Proven Skillset In AWS Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, And Log Insights.
  • Ability To Analyze Complex Technical Systems And Web Application Architectures.
  • Intermediate Powershell Skills.
  • Understanding Of Basic Web Application Architecture Resources And AWS Resources.
  • Evidence Of Improving Monitoring Processes Across A Medium To Large Organization.
  • Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
  • Excellent Time Management And Organizational Skills.
  • Ability To Work Effectively Independently And In A Team-Oriented Environment.
