Expert Tax Staffer Needed

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled tax professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in Partnership taxation, with a strong focus on 1065 returns.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive tax workpapers and returns for 1065 Partnerships in federal and state jurisdictions.
  • Develop and submit Federal and State tax returns for Corporate Taxation (1120 /1120S).
  • Assist clients in preparing US Individual (1040) Taxation.
  • Familiarize yourself with Subchapter K rules and regulations.
  • Analyze and research common tax issues that arise during client engagements.
  • Create tailored tax strategies aligned with client needs and goals.
  • Collaborate in identifying new delivery channels and opportunities.
  • Support the partner team in practice development and planning.
  • Mentor junior staff members.
  • Provide guidance on implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in CCH, CaseWare, and other internal tools is required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Partnership taxation, including 1065 returns.
  • Experience with Federal and State tax returns for Corporate Taxation (1120 /1120S).
  • Familiarity with US Individual (1040) Taxation.
  • Understanding of Subchapter K rules and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create effective tax strategies.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
