Treasury Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Specialist to manage daily cash flow across various project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and optimize fund utilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage daily cash flow by monitoring financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Capital Expenditure (Capex): Facilitate issuance of Capex Letters of Credit (LCs) and manage Buyer's Credit / Supplier's Credit arrangements.
  • Investment and Repayments: Manage surplus funds by investing in short-term debt mutual funds and fixed deposits, ensuring timely interest and principal repayments for project loans.
  • Record-Keeping: Ensure proper records of advance and Performance Bank Guarantee (BG) received from Vendors/ BG issued to third parties.
  • Inter Corporate Deposit (ICD) Management: Manage ICD issuance, limit monitoring, and documentation.
  • Treasury Accounting: Ensure treasury accounting entries on a daily basis.
  • Foreign Exchange (Forex) Hedging: Manage forex hedging activities and related bank documentation.
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) Compliance: Lead KYC compliance for all bank accounts and drive digital initiatives (High-Touch, net banking, automation of transactions).
  • Banking Relationships: Liaise with banks on operational matters and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Reporting and Audit: Timely submission of Treasury-related details, audit co-ordination, and response to audit queries.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly Treasury Management Information System (MIS), including reports on loans, interest payments, short-term investments, and hedging exposures.
  • New Project Financing: Support in new project financing activities and Loan documentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Accounts, Projects, Procurement) for efficient treasury operations.
