About Our Senior Backend Engineer Opportunity

At our organization, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Golang and experience with Ruby, along with a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backend architecture.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Golang is required, along with experience in Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
  • Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, and backend platforms in production environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes is a bonus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
