Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Infrastructure Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and building the foundational backend services that ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Your primary focus will be on architecting and developing distributed systems that form the backbone of our AI products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive best practices in system design and provide guidance through code reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Architecture: Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, driving best practices in software development and system architecture.
  • Project Ownership: Own complex technical projects from conception to deployment, delivering robust solutions that meet business needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle challenging technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development, including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++).
  • Experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure is essential.
