Claims Examiner

Job Summary:

Cogneesol is seeking a skilled Claims Examiner to join our team. As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for processing claims in line with required service standards and delegated authority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process claims accurately and efficiently.
• Collate information from correct sources to assess claims.
• Challenge any anomalies and decline invalid claims.
• Communicate effectively with customers, representatives, and veterinary practices.
• Pro-actively manage caseloads.
• Manage multi-channel correspondence.
• Effectively manage claim cost.
• Organise, record, and distribute incoming correspondence.
• Update and maintain policy records.
• Liaise with internal and external customers.
• Maintain knowledge of products, procedures, service, system, and frameworks.

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn claims intricacies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
• Pro-active and self-motivated.
• Experience in handling insurance claims.

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience of the Insurance Industry and Claims.
