Job Overview

This role is accountable for managing departmental operations, with a focus on maintaining safety, security and asset protection.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the effective planning, scheduling and evaluation of preventative maintenance programs
  • Oversee day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring equipment is operating at optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety
  • Recommends or arranges for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations and replacement of furnishings and equipment
Additional Duties
  • Manages parts, supplies and equipment inventories to minimize downtime and maximize cash flow
  • Performs regular inspections to identify potential issues
  • Evaluates and implements new technologies, equipment and supplies to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensures necessary permits and licenses are obtained and kept current
  • Maintains compliance with Engineering departmental policies, standards and procedures
Customer Service Focus
  • Exemplifies exceptional customer service, creating a positive atmosphere for guest relations
  • Fosters an environment where employees can provide excellent customer service
