About the Role

We're seeking an accomplished Senior Consultant to lead our data science team in delivering cutting-edge models and addressing complex business challenges.

Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences through Machine Learning, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning techniques.

You'll build, deploy, and maintain predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems.

This role offers high autonomy and accountability, with multiple projects to manage independently. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Effective communication and presentation of complex quantitative analyses are essential skills for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling techniques to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems.
  • Manage multiple projects independently with high autonomy and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Communicate analytical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • 6+ years in Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling in e-commerce or related environments.
  • Expertise in traditional and modern machine learning techniques (Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning).
  • Effective communication and presentation of complex quantitative analyses.
  • Prior experience working in the eCommerce sector is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
