Freelance Motion Graphic Designer Job Description

As a Freelance Motion Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging videos and visual content that brings our brand to life.

  • Create motion graphic reels, talking head videos, and 3D product reels.
  • Edit and enhance videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Design and animate graphics using Adobe After Effects.
  • Use Photoshop for image editing, asset preparation, and graphic design needs.
  • Leverage AI tools (for visuals, animation, or editing) to improve workflow and creativity.
  • Collaborate with the team/clients to understand briefs and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining brand guidelines and visual consistency.

Our ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in motion design, video editing, and creative storytelling, with a strong sense of design aesthetics. The successful freelancer will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer/Video Editor (portfolio required).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools for video and design.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Ability to create dynamic and engaging short-form content (Reels, Ads, Social Media videos).
  • Knowledge of 3D animation/product visualization
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with a team.
