Accounting Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting professional to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial accounting, ensure accurate reporting, and provide analytical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage financial accounting for various segments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
  2. Oversee the closing of monthly and quarterly financial reports, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Plan, execute, and close statutory audits proactively addressing potential issues, and prepare disclosures and reports as required.
  4. Apply strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in business scenarios.
  5. Closely coordinate with finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  6. Ensure correct segmental reporting, proper elimination of group transactions, and review of all BS items periodically.
  7. Lead and supervise a team of professionals, motivating and coaching them through role clarification and feedback.
  8. End-to-end responsibility for closure of Financial Statements for parent company and subsidiaries.
  9. Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations, CARO, and legislations.
  10. Examine financial reports and data closely to detect discrepancies and ensure Board deliverables related to quarterly publishing of Financial statements.
  11. Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
  12. Adhere to accounting policies/guidelines, making changes as per changes in Accounting standards, regulatory, and other compliances.

Educational Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant with 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
