Expert Rail Project Guidance

Key to delivering on-time and within budget railway projects is having seasoned advisors who possess a profound understanding of project management, stakeholder coordination, compliance, and operational protocols. As a strategic advisor for our rail infrastructure projects, you will utilize your extensive knowledge of railway operations to provide valuable guidance in planning, tendering, and execution.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Advise on rail-related project works (tracks, signaling, electrification, bridges, station development, etc.).
  • Guide project teams on technical standards, IR codes, and operational procedures.
  • Support in resolving on-site project execution challenges with railway authorities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with railway officials, consultants, and government departments for project clearances.
  • Act as a bridge between us and Indian Railways to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Participate in client meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.

Tendering & Business Development

  • Support tendering team with rail-specific insights, cost estimation, and bid preparation.
  • Advise on eligibility, contract conditions, and compliance for rail tenders.
  • Utilize past experience and network to strengthen our chances of winning contracts.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Evaluate projects against Indian Railway standards, RDSO guidelines, and statutory norms.
  • Identify project risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide expert inputs on safety, quality, and operational protocols.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Retired Senior Officer from Indian Railways (preferably from IRSE, IRSME, IRSSE, IRSEE, or equivalent).

- Minimum 25+ years of rail project experience (construction, maintenance, or operations).

- Proven track record of handling large-scale projects (tracks, bridges, electrification, signaling, station modernization, etc.).

- Strong network and credibility with railway authorities.

Key Skills

- In-depth knowledge of Indian Railway codes, manuals, and approval procedures.

- Excellent stakeholder relationship management.

- Strong advisory and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to guide project teams with practical solutions.

- Leadership and mentoring skills.
