This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in accounts payable and financial management, with excellent knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable and Financial Manager will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, including vendor payments, cash disbursements, and bank account reconciliations.

You will also oversee payroll payments, coordinate with HR for payroll-related tasks, and manage statutory compliance related to Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Professional Tax (PT), Gratuity, Bonus, Incentives, and other statutory obligations.

In addition, you will be responsible for tax compliance, filing and paying Taxes Deducted at Source (TDS) and Electronic Tax Deducted at Source (ETDS) returns as per regulatory requirements, and ensure GST compliance by matching GST input credits with GSTR 2A and adhering to Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations.

As part of your duties, you will review annual accounts, liaise with auditors for necessary adjustments, and finalize monthly and annual accounts accurately and on time.

You will also provide support for Management Information System (MIS) reporting, collaborate with banks to address financial issues, reconcile statements, and manage banking relationships.

Furthermore, you will prepare financial reports as required by management, providing insights into financial performance and trends, and coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for periodic audits, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • a CA or Inter CA or MBA qualification;
  • proven experience in accounts payable and financial management;
  • excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills;
  • proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel;

A salary of ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum is available, depending on qualifications and experience.
