We seek an experienced APIGEE Developer to build scalable, secure and high-performance APIs. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience in designing, developing and managing APIs using Google APIGEE Edge or APIGEE X.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deploy APIs using APIGEE Edge/APIGEE X.
  • Implement API proxies, policies (security, traffic management, mediation etc.) and custom scripts.
  • Collaborate with architects and backend teams to define API contracts and integration strategies.
  • Evaluate and ensure APIs are secure, scalable and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and availability issues.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
  • Maintain API documentation and version control.
  • Work with OAuth 2.0, JWT and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in API development using APIGEE.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT and other API security standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
