Project Cost Management Role

This is a key position in our organization that requires an individual with strong financial expertise to oversee project costs and ensure they are managed effectively.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan, coordinate, and control project expenses, as well as identify areas for optimization and cost reduction. They will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop detailed project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to inform business decisions
  2. Monitor and analyze project expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  3. Collaborate with clients to obtain approval on invoices and payments in a timely manner
  4. Manage accurate billing records and follow up on outstanding payments to minimize revenue loss
  5. Provide regular cost analysis and variance reports to project managers and controllers to highlight potential issues
  6. Lead and supervise compliance with internal financial controls and risk management procedures to maintain a high level of financial integrity
  7. Contribute to commercial awareness and input to project execution plans to drive business success

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to create professional reports and presentations
  • Basic knowledge of SAP to support financial operations
  • High sense of responsibility and commitment to deliver results-oriented outcomes

Educational Qualification:
MBA Finance / CA-Inter / ICWA
Work Experience:
Total experience of 6-10 years
