**Job Title:** Financial Operations Manager**Job Summary:

As a key member of our team, the Financial Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless financial operations. This role involves overseeing various aspects of finance, including reconciliations, supplier invoices, MIS reports, and receivables.

**Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and timely reconciliations for customer and vendor ledgers, as well as inter-company transactions.
  • Review and verify supplier invoices in line with contractual agreements, ensuring compliance and recording entries in BOS.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly MIS reports, revenue statements, and reconcile income and expenditure reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Oversee monthly billing for cargo handling and counter sales, ensuring daily/monthly BOS reconciliation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor receivables, follow up with debtors, and prepare monthly ageing reports to ensure timely payment.
  • Maintain and update financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Process invoices and accurately record receipts, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Generate MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India GH & CH using BOS financial data, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Ensure proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct general ledger reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Assist auditors during financial audits and statement preparation, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  • Deliver invoices to airline clients and submit acknowledgments to the team, maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager or department head, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
**Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Chartered Accountancy with 3-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Commerce or MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial systems, with expertise in ERP systems preferred.
**Preferred Experience:
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and experience working with aviation industry-specific software.
**Key Competencies & Attributes:
  • Strong command of spoken and written English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communicator across all organizational levels, with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative and able to work with various financial software and systems, with comfort level in interpreting airline operational manuals and applying financial insights.
