Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance sell-through, service standards, and launch readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging multi-format content, including decks, playbooks, videos, role-plays, and quizzes, in multiple languages.
  • Build curriculum and SOPs for product science, shade matching, regimen building, hygiene, VM basics, and claims guardrails.
  • Develop and deliver train-the-trainer sessions, field coaching, roadshows, and monthly masterclasses.
  • Partner with NPD/R&D to translate INCI and benefits into accurate demos and ensure compliant claims.
  • Set up learning management systems, track training progress, publish calendars, and report impact using dashboards.
  • Hire, manage, and onboard regional trainers, channel trainers, and external academies/vendors.
  • Own the training program.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in beauty/personal-care retail training, with a proven track record of leading TTT programs.
  • Strong grasp of makeup and skincare, with the ability to explain INCI and shade science simply.
  • Bilingual: English, with confidence in facilitation and on-camera presentation.
  • Data-driven, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with LMS.
  • Weekend/launch flexibility and high travel comfort.

Hiring Notes:

  • Pure L&D profiles bring strong pedagogy/content but may require coaching on retail hustle.
  • Ex-BA/Counter Leads offer great field intuition but need testing for content creation and analytics.
  • Prior experience in training beats third-party trainer for accountability to KPIs.
