Animation Design Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Animation Design Specialist to join our team. As an Animation Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations for slot game symbols, bonus rounds, and other game elements.

  • Create engaging animations that capture players' attention and enhance their gaming experience.
  • Collaborate with game designers, developers, and producers to develop and execute creative concepts for animations.
  • Design and animate game interface elements such as buttons, backgrounds, and transitions.
  • Develop storyboards and animatics to plan out the animation.
  • Edit and composite animations with other visual elements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong artistic and drawing skills.
  • Proficiency in 2D animation software such as Spine, Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony.
  • Knowledge of traditional animation techniques such as timing, spacing, and posing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in slot game animation.
  • Understanding of compositing and visual effects.
  • Experience in the gaming industry, with a portfolio that showcases slot game animations and graphics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in animation, art, or related field.
