We are seeking an experienced Senior Animator to join our team and bring life to our next generation of casino slot games. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in After Effects and Spine, with a strong eye for detail, player psychology, and engaging motion design.

This role requires collaboration with game designers, artists, and developers to create compelling animations that enhance player experience, retention, and excitement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and producing high-quality 2D animations for casino slot games, including reel spins, symbol win effects, free spins, and jackpot animations. They will also work on bonus features, transitions, and cinematic sequences.

  • Responsibilities include animating characters, symbols, and UI elements using Spine for real-time deployment and creating cinematic and VFX sequences using After Effects for polished, impactful visuals.
  • The Senior Animator will collaborate with the team to ensure animations fit seamlessly into the game environment and meet performance requirements.
  • They will also be responsible for optimizing animations for performance, memory usage, and smooth gameplay experience.
  • Mentoring junior animators, sharing best practices, and helping define animation standards is also an essential part of this role.

  • Essential Skills:
    • Advanced motion graphics and compositing skills using After Effects.
    • Spine (skeleton rigging, mesh deformation, weights, IK constraints, runtime optimization) expertise.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Adobe Photoshop (asset preparation, sprite sheets, image editing).
    • Adobe Illustrator (vector asset creation and optimization).
    • Adobe Audition (basic sound editing and syncing for animations).
    • Prior experience in Casino Slot Games or iGaming industry.
    • Understanding of player psychology in slots (anticipation, excitement, win hierarchy).
    • Knowledge of Unity or similar game engines for integration.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work (preferably casino slots or casual games)
