About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team working on cloud-native products and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, have worked on cloud-native technologies, and have a willingness to learn new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services.">
  • Learn and collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap.">
  • Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.">
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.">
  • Experience with programming in Python or Golang.">
  • 8-12 years of experience in a software development role.">
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.">
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, switching, routing, and network protocols.">
  • Prior experience in developing networking products (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.) is highly desirable.">
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.">
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Openstack/Devstack is a plus.">
  • Prior experience with Linux networking stack, kernel modules, and device drivers is a plus.">
