Job Title: Automation Expert - Commissioning & Process Control Specialist

Candidate Qualifications and Experience Overview:

  • Total Experience:

    ">Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience required.

  • Travel Requirements:

    ">Willing to travel approximately ~50% annually.

  • Physical Work Expectations:

    ">Comfortable with hands-on field work, including site commissioning experience.

Core Technical Skills and Qualifications:

">

  1. PLC Programming and Control Systems:

    ">Experience with Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD), and PID programming & loop tuning.

  2. Communication Protocols and IoT Integration:

    ">Proficient in Modbus, CC-Link, RS-232, Ethernet TCP/IP, Wireless, and IoT protocols, including MQTT.

  3. Platforms and Tools:

    ">Experience working with Mitsubishi, Siemens, Schneider platforms, and proficient in IO List preparation & review.

  4. SCADA / HMI Development and Panel Engineering Knowledge:

    ">Strong understanding of SCADA / HMI development (preferred) and panel engineering principles.

Instrumentation and Electrical Knowledge:

">

  • Thermocouple, Pressure, and Level Transmitters/Switches:

    ">Familiarity with thermocouple, pressure, and level transmitter/switch technology.

  • Proximity Sensors and Modulating Valves:

    ">Knowledge of proximity sensors and modulating valves.

  • Instrumentation and Control Earthing and Power Earthing:

    ">Understanding of instrumentation and control earthing, as well as power earthing principles.

Site and Field Experience:

  • Site Commissioning Experience:

    ">Hands-on experience with site commissioning and physical work during setup.

  • Panel Wiring and Termination:

    ">Ability to perform panel wiring and termination tasks.

Project and Managerial Capability:

  • Team Management and Project Coordination:

    ">Experience managing teams and coordinating industrial automation projects.

  • Vendor Coordination and Procurement Knowledge:

    ">Strong understanding of vendor coordination and procurement processes.

Documentation and Communication:

  • IO Documentation and Reporting:
