Job Title: Power BI Developer

We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power BI & Reporting Development:
    • Design, develop, and publish high-quality dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
    • Implement data models tailored for reporting.
    • Create reusable DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
    • Ensure reports and dashboards follow best practices.
    • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Data Engineering & Integration:
    • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
    • Work with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality and performance.
    • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting needs.
    • Support integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
  • Collaboration & Offshore Delivery:
    • Work closely with onsite leads and data architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Provide status updates and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise initiatives.
    • Collaborate with offshore team members to maintain consistent coding standards.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles.
  • Experience working in an offshore delivery model.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Data Services.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security models.
