Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at IDIQ. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using a microservices pattern and structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions using microservices architecture
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends related to backend development
  • Develop test automation to deliver high-quality microservices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding best practices and industry standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality
  • Collaborate with the product team for user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical expertise
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
  • Assist in the deployment and production release of the application

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science
  • Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer with a focus on web application development
  • Strong proficiency in React and Core with hands-on experience in migrating legacy webform applications to modern web frameworks
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in.Net Core, Core, Web API, MVC, and Microservices
  • 5+ years experience working with MS SQL database
  • Proficient hands-on experience with LINQ and Entity Framework
  • Modern web security methodologies and familiarity with non-relational databases
  • Strong Object Oriented design skills with excellent knowledge/usage of Design patterns
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude
  • Proficient in software development methodologies, standards, and tools

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with GCP cloud platform
