We are looking for a motivated and skilled UI/UX Design Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience with design systems, tools and methods. The role involves assisting in maintaining our design system by updating Figma components, tokens and documentation.

As an intern, you will work under the guidance of senior designers to craft consistent and intuitive interfaces for our learning products. You will create layout variations, states and lightweight prototypes, participate in user testing and collaborate with cross-functional teams during stand-ups and design critiques.

The ideal candidate should have fundamental knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, color and responsive design. Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update our design system, including Figma components, tokens and documentation.
  • Create layouts, variations, states and lightweight prototypes under senior direction.
  • Participate in user testing and observe usability sessions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during stand-ups and design critiques.
Requirements
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Design, HCI or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
  • Strong willingness to learn, take feedback and iterate quickly.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
